Question Bodhi 5.2.0

Will there be a 5.2.0 release? Updated installation media bundles together all updates issued since March.
Ergo, fewer post-install updates required.

I am sure you can do your part to help get it released faster! You should ask the admins/devs on the Bodhi forum.

Hello

No, we won't follow this Ubuntu release. We will release Bodhi Linux in version 6.0 with Ubuntu 20.04 base.

We discussed about this with Ylee. Ubuntu abandoned 32b base so it is a real question these days indeed. Ylee will have a final word about the future of 32b Bodhi but I think we will maintain 32b with 18.04 Ubuntu as long as possible. I assume Ylee will post some info here...

Updated iso would save lots of time on updates for new installations so would love to see 5.2.0

Very easy to help you

Do all updates and make your own iso with bodhibuilder iso creator. Nothing hard to do and new experience for you

Hello!
You can create your own "Service Pack 1" media (using the Windows world terminology).
Simple enter these commands after the fresh installation:
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get -dy upgrade
This will give you the latest deb-updates in the directory /var/cache/apt/archives.
Then you can use the manual to create a local repository media:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Personal
