That is affirmative.
Until I modified the /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf file, the network manager found my router, but would not connect. Apparently, this is a peculiarity of Debian.
At this time, I do not know if it works with Stretch (Debian Stable). Due to the troubles that I was having, I upgraded to Buster (Debian Testing)
