Bodhi 5.0 - Add a user picture/avatar

Hello,

This is my first post. Not an especially pressing problem, but I like having a pic when I log in, rather than the really boring gray silhouette. And with most distros, this is easy to find. Not Bodhi. Is there a way to do it, or it it just not a feature.

Thanks,
CD

Hello there

The solution is very easy. Rename your avatar picture to name .face (without extension) and save it in your home folder.

Enjoy

Stefan

STefan,

Thanks! Yes, that was way too easy. Is this true in general for other distros?

Just answered my own question, I think. Both Mint and Lubuntu (which share a laptop with Bodhi) have my avatar as .face file in my home folder.

I think this method is related to lightdm. So it depends...
