Question How to configure multiple ports for UDP Syslog on RedHat?

Dear everyone,

I am trying to configure my syslog server listening to 5 UDP ports (514-518)
I have configured my port.conf and placed it into /etc/rsyslog.d/. The content of port.conf as below:
module(load="imudp")
input(type="imudp" port=["514","515","516","517","518"])

In /etc/rsyslog.conf, i have put the following content to read the config file from /etc/rsyslog.d
# Include all config files in /etc/rsyslog.d/
$IncludeConfig /etc/rsyslog.d/*.conf

After that, i have restarted rsyslog service. However, checking command "netstat -nlp", only port 514 is listening. The other ports are not listening at all.
Tried to push some data through 515 as well but failed.

Can some one give me an advice in this situation? Is there something wrong with my configuration file?

Thank you for your help in advance.
Regards,
Anh

Should you not be contacting RHEL support for this?

RHEL is a subscription based Linux distribution, you need to pay for it. You are ain't you?

If not, have a look at CentOS instead.

this is a customized RHEL which delivered along with product appliance. RHEL does not support this things.
CentOS also has the same issue.
