Is it possible to clear old infraction?

There's an old expired infraction permanently stuck on my profile, is that normal?
I've had it for years, and TBH I'd like to get rid of it if possible. Because I don't think I've earned it, and also it has a bad typo in it.

Problem is that the note on my profile states I don't respect the mods' opinion, which is not true.
What really happened is that I wrote my post before the mod replied to thread, and did not read his post before hitting reply.
My reply never intended to challenge his authority, it only turned out that way because of bad timing. Can someone check it out, or ask unSpawn about it?

Hi,

I have a single infraction, from back in 2010. It's still shown on my profile. The reason was "Insulted Other Member(s)". It can be hidden by pressing the icon in the top right corner of the panel.

Funny thing is though, I still don't know what in my post constituted the insult.

While I don't know what the answer is (I suspect it's no); my infractions still show up on my profile, even the ones that were "reversed" by Jeremy (but it does say they are "Reversed" tho).

I know there's also a record that only the mods can see - from what one of them said when I asked them about one of my infractions.

But I think if it's been "reversed", it should be cleared, and shouldn't still be on your profile (or on LQ's records that only the mods can see). Because it's still a "black mark" against you, and can still be a factor in whether or not you get another one, if someone reports one of your posts.

This reminded me that I got a 3 point infraction for "trolling" (posting a joke) several years ago and it is indeed still there.

As far as I'm concerned it can stay there, not too fussed either way. I don't consider it a "black mark" as such.

Just to confirm; they should not be considered a blemish and cannot be seen by members in any way. If there are individual infractions that a member thinks should be reversed or removed, as always do feel free to contact me directly.

I decided to carry mine openly for everyone to see.
5 yellow one's; there used to be a red one too but some mod insisted on removing it changed it into a yellow one.

Wow, I just checked and in the "Expires" column it shows "Reversed". Not sure when that happened :-)

It's still there, but says reversed now. Anyway, I figured it was a permanent part of profile.
Guess it's only a notification of sorts, I should probably mark this solved since it's reversed, thanks.
