PPSSPP, segfaulting immediately

Hi, i've been trying to play some backups of PSP games on my desktop, so i have looked at the PPSSPP emulator found here:
https://build.ppsspp.org/?page/downloads#linux

This is all that happens. Any ideas how i can get this to run? I do have SDL2 installed.
Code:
$ ./PPSSPPSDL
I: VulkanLoader.cpp:290: Vulkan test instance created successfully.
I: VulkanLoader.cpp:326: Found working Vulkan API!
Vulkan might be available.
Segmentation fault
