Problem with 5.0 RC

Hi. Looks great. Using 64-bit. But I use the theme detour <sp?> and it's missing from synaptic. I went to the Bodhi site, tried to download it from there, but got an error message that this theme was not available for download. Any help? As always, many thanks.

There is a bug in the RC image where the bodhi repo is missing from /etc/apt/sources.list

It will be in the actual release disk. Hopefully someone will reply here with the right line to put in that file. I don't know it off the top of my head.

For the 5.0.0-RC release you need the following at the end of the file: etc/apt/sources.list

deb [trusted=yes] http://packages.bodhilinux.com/bodhi bionic b5main

Use sudo epad to open the file, edit and save it. Next run sudo apt-get update.

That will be all.

Also please be aware that because the 5.0.0 is not our official stable release yet - not every package on the app center will have the correct package names for this latest version yet.

If you install something like synaptic or use apt from the command line you will be able to search for theme packages and the such.

Thanks. Synaptic did not have the theme I wanted until I added the repo as directed in another post. Many thanks!
