Need advice on setting up a thin client server

to save me a lot of time evaluating a bunch of thin client projects, as I have noticed a lot were started about 10 years ago and havent been updated, what is the absolute best distro for running a thin client server and who has the best linux client app. And while im at it, what version of x is the best GUI for a lightweight thin client desktop?
Thanks

As a thin client just downloads its O/S from a server, basically that's all you need.

Debian used to have a write up about how to set one up, so I'd say take a look there first.

Although, one of the Raspberry Pi projects also caters for this scenario, so might be worth looking into as well.

Kind of a lot going on in this question.

Thin clients work in a number of ways. The way they preset input and output varies too.

Maybe tell us what you are thinking of first for a better solution? What hardware is client on and what do you wish to present to the clients.
