We can't get GaŽl or Jean into the Mandrake Club forums. How'd you get them here? Publicizing a bit so Mandrake will become/stay profitable... of course... which is good.

So is another place to meet up with Mandrake folks.

Why not use mandrake club instead? It's better to use *one* forum than several...

Ideally perhaps.

However, Mandrake Club will never enjoy the broad expanse of readership of the free forums. Mandrakusers.org for example has many active members who help answers questions who are either; Not Mandrake users or 2) Don't belong to the Club and are not going to join.

In addition to forums like this one and mandrakeusers.org there is the power of alt.os.linux.mandrake. Many heavy hitters hang out there that you don't see on these forums.

Exactly, that is one reason why we got several representatives from Mandrake to help out, visit the Mandrake forum as we have Mandrake users here at LQ.org that also feel why they should use multiple forums if they enjoy the atmosphere here at LQ.

You basically just answered your own question really. We created and got reps to make the Mandrake forum so our Mandrake users feel even more at home now with their own specific Mandrake forum.

Regards.

PS. And apparently the Reps we got visiting think its a good idea as well.

what has now become mandrakeusers.org used to be -the- mandrake from, started by an employee of Mandrake who has since disappeared. When he disappeared and the forum became leader-less many of it's mods and such started a new one and moved the userbase there. Mandrake then started it's own forum. Just a -short- history lesson, we still have no clue what happened to Tom Berger.
