New Distro Forum

Another Distro Forum has been added to LinuxQuestions.org. We now have a Debian forum. The forum will be visited by alfie - a member of the Debian team. A few other Debian members will hopefully be soon to follow. Thanks alfie!

Thiz-Linux Question-

I am having a heck-of-a-time trying to install sortware programs on my Thiz-Linux system. I know how to untar the software, but I can never seem to finalize the install after untarring it.

Any suggestions?

Questions of these kind don't go in this forum and definitely not in a thread stating that we've added a Debian forum as it has nothing to do with that at all. Try to place your threads or questions in the most appropiate forum please.
