Question Does anyone have a operating iPod Mini on Linux

Hi!

I tried to operate my [B]iPod Mini [\B] on my Fedora core 1 (kernel
2.4.22-1.2115.nptl), but didn't succeed! After looking in several forum about
this question, I found only people encontering the same problem as me. Caution!
I am talking about the MINI verion of the iPod, and not the "big" one! I have
the feeling that something have change between these two model, but what! My
question is:

Does anyone have a working [B]iPod Mini [\B] on linux? And what did he/she
did different from the normal iPod procedure?

Note that I have initialized the iPod on a XP system and that dmesg gives:
