Dedicated server HDD Linux command


Hello,

I have a dedicated server with an HDD and i want someone to upload files to the HDD without giving him root access. I don't have cpanel so i need a command to make it possible. Does someone know how?

there is very little info in your post; you don't even say that you're using linux, let alone which and under which circumstances.

anyhow, currently i don't see anything that couldn't be solved with a few minutes of solid web searching.

what have you found?

Hello and welcome to LQ.

You make, configure and or install some transport to allow files to be moved. Everything from tftp,ftp,sftp,samba, https and iscsi and more allow this. If this is over the web then you'd need to allow your transport to pass.

Yes i am using Linux.

I didn't find anything on the internet about it yet.
