No need to apologise. It just makes it easier for me to answer if your posts don't change a lot (by all means edit one of your posts if you need to change some incorrect information in it, but not to add any new information).

I don't understand your last question - please refer to my previous post where I talk about how and when to install the latest extension pack.
I have install it before 1 months with 5.2.6.

it is written:

They dont find it, but i have it? It is normal that it is saved in my personal folder?
The strange is, that my VM 1 is switched of and when i will start then i see the same:
Implementation of the USB 3.0 controller not found!
Because the USB 3.0 controller state is part of the saved VM state, the VM cannot be started. To fix this problem, either install the 'Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack' or disable USB 3.0 support in the VM settings (VERR_NOT_FOUND).

and with the second VM is written: not accessible

Just a note that I will be going out for an hour or two. However, I'll have a look at this thread once I'm back.

Sorry, my fault. The problem was with the space in "VirtualBox VMs". You need to put a backspace before the space, i.e.

Code:
ls -la ~/VirtualBox\ VMs/Surfen/
Ignore the USB3.0 problem for the moment and I would advise you not to fiddle about with VirtualBox until I return or someone else joins in to advise you. Yes, it's normal that the VMs would be in your home directory, unless you indicated to VirtualBox that you wanted them somewhere else.

I have see that the 2 machines was false why the machine one was guided with the second machine and
second machine to first machine! Now the first machine works but the second write more:

Location: '/home/linuxmint/VirtualBox VMs/Surfen/Surfen.vbox', line 1 (0), column 1.
/home/vbox/vbox-5.2.8/src/VBox/Main/src-server/MachineImpl.cpp[741] (nsresult Machine::i_registeredInit()).

But its not so important. Now its updated with the extension pack and one machine work so i can make
other more. I will thank you so much! You are a Linux and VM Hero!

Ok, I'm back.

First, for info, can you please paste the output from:

Code:
vboxmanage list hdds
Now, let's do the same as before for Surfen (ensure first that VirtualBox is not running):

Code:
cd ~/VirtualBox\ VMs/Surfen/

cp Surfen.vbox-prev Surfen.vbox-copy

cp Surfen.vbox-prev Surfen.vbox
Then try launching that VM.

I have to say that the first paragraph in your last post is incomprehensible to me.

Please tell me, in your words, what the three VMs that you have are, including which guest operating systems they are running, and which is the one that now works.

Also, please tell me why you tried to run the output from the vboxmanage list hdds command as separate commands. It doesn't make any sense why you would try to do that and then paste the output from that here.

Finally, please tell me why you didn't run the three Surfen-related commands that I asked you to.

I'll speak plainly. If you can't follow my instructions then I'm going to find it difficult to help you.

You mean this paragraph? UUID: 9588ec4e-5cbb-45da-805f-08e293fa806d ?
Or the mix from 2 vdi? When i have installed first time, then i have some problems and see after
that i have mix some things.
I have only install Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 3 times. I have before this problems 2 other VMs with Linux too but i have delete that. I have see that i have in Version Linux 2.6 but i must have Ubuntu(64) for Linux Mint so i have do that now.
The first machine "Arbeit" is work and the TEST VM that i have great after fix the problems work, too.
Only the second "Surfen" is not working.

Sorry, i dont see my fail. I use Linux and Terminal since 1 month.

Oddly, what you are telling me does not tie in with what vboxmanage list hdds is telling me. But let's get to that in a moment.

Ok, try launching the Surfen VM now.

I think i cant explain. I use even google translator, too!
Maybe that picture can help. I can delete VM 2 (surfen) and create from now on much better.

Ok. Thanks for the screenshot - a great idea!

If you're happy deleting Surfen, and its related virtual HDD, and then creating a new VM then by all means go for it.

Do let us know if you have any further problems or questions, and good luck!

Maybe its from add-ons that i have? The german forum have call that they think its from the add-ons.
I can see the pictures in Linux normally as little picture but when i will upload in social communities etc.
