des_a, while your software question may have produced a programming question, this post is not a programming question.

If you have a specific programming question, please make the effort to pose your complete question in the programming forum, in a way that is consistent with LQ Guidelines and which helps members to easily understand your specific problem.

Please do not ask others to follow links to other posts, and in this case ultimately to an off-site blog, to simply understand the question. It is unfair to others who would volunteer their time to help, and many will simply bypass such posts. This ultimately leads to a lower quality of information both for yourself, and for others who may land on this page in future seeking similar help.

I am aware that you have a disability which may affect your ability to organize and present your questions clearly, but I am asking you to please make the effort to do so for your own benefit, and for the benefit of all LQ users, present and future.

When posting your programming questions, please refrain from trying to present a project overview which is usually irrelevant and leads to poorly directed discussions which do not produce a specific answer, usually because there is no specific question. Instead, please try to explain the specific task you need to accomplish, what you have done so far and what part is giving you a problem. If posting code, please provide a simplest test case which demonstrates the problem, along with a short example of input data (strings, filenames, etc.) and the output you expect so that others can more quickly reproduce the problem.

Please help us help you, and please help to keep the quality and accessibility of information available on LQ as high as possible.

Sorry. I thought that if it turned into a programming question, it was. So I'll just mark this one as solved and continue where I origionally was, which was where I really wanted the answer. I just thought it was organized better this way. Sorry.
