Linux file permissions and chmod

Hi,

Linux file permissions and chmod;
Quote:
When you view files and directories on Linux hosts, how can you tell which users have access? And how do you determine the extent of their access? Before approaching the sizable (but very important) subject of Linux (and Unix) file permissions, it is helpful to review the definitions of key terms which IT professionals need to be familiar with. Do you need help with perms(can't imagine that's the case) or are you trying to promote the blog post? I'm not sure what you're after here.

It is a pretty good post, most of the wordpress.com blogs are misinformation at least from what I have seen. Some guy who knows enough to be dangerous posts online, but this one is very thorough. Good find.
