Not on my Desktop. I am running 18.0 Cinnamon. I see that there is a search box at the top of the Menu. Never used it before. I typed hp in it and the HP Device Manager came up. Not much there.
That device manager is where you configure the printer and also install the hplip plugin to support the scanner
