How do I stop the requirement to enter password when I boot up mint 19.3

I have just installed mint 19.3 and made the mistake of not asking the install to remove requirement to enter password when booting up.I think there is a number of options in user/groups that can be added/removed in particular I noticed one called nopasswdlogin. Could someone advise the approved method of stopping the login screen from coming up on boot up.

I think Mint uses its own mdm display manager.

In the menu goto System -> Users and Groups. Under the pass word setting you click the "Don't ask for password" checkbox. When you reboot your system you be automatically logged in.

Thank you all for your replies. Unfortunately in users and groups there does not seem to be an option to amend the options for an existing user. The password option only seems to come up for setting up a new user. This being the case, and if you believe i am wrong please tell me, I will leave this post open a little longer.

In 19.3, try Settings -> Login Window -> Users -> Username / Delay.

However, that will not work if you have an encrypted home directory, for obvious reasons.
