How to find the VG with a mount point

Hello,

i have a mount point with 22% space left.
so i tip :
Code:
cd /etc.var
df .
i got

Code:
Filesystem 512-blocks Free %Used Iused %Iused Mounted on
/dev/fslv55 1048576 234104 78% 9011 24% /var/log
I would like to check vg space to know if i have to increase vg space or just increase the fillesystem.

How can i find (with one commande if it's possible) the vgname and space left with just the mount point /var/log ?
Because, the only thing i got with the commande df . is the filesystem :
/dev/fslv55 but not the vg.

Thank's for your help.

The commands "lsblk" and "lsblk -f" (with no other arguments) will give information on how devices map to mountpoints. You will need other commands to get information about usage in the various layers.

That tool is standard in Linux, apparently lacking in AIX. I don't know of any equivalent. Sorry.
