Just saying Hi !

Using Linux for a few years now, keep changing Distro's. Really like Slackware, but not very good at cli. Using Puppy Linux right now. I just find it all so interesting. I wont bother anyone with silly questions if I can help it.

Welcome to LQ.

I understand what you say about the CLI, but I'd urge you to learn it, or at least to become familiar, if not conversant, with it (as we used to say on the railroad). In the long run, it pays off.

Desktops and distros vary, but the CLI is almost (depending on the shell) always the same.
