is libpng linked to somthing I dont know about or does it need to be linked? Thanks for any help!!!
Already have my friend, libpng.so is installed on my machine. Still not sure of what the error massage is referring to. What does it mean "undefined ref to"
Upon searching Google I found that gqcam needs libpng 1.2.8. If you do not have this download it and install. Don't forget to run ldconfig as root afterwards
You have slack 10 or 10.1, 10.1 contains libpng-1.2.8

For info I have discovered over time that any reference to "undefined reference" when compiling seems to mean that the library in question is the wrong version.
