Is this ROCK or ROCKS?
Folks,
Is this sub-forum for ROCK or ROCKS?
ROCKS being the CentOS based HPC Cluster suite from the NPACI?

hi..im new in rocks cluster..build hpc cluster on centOS..
now im running mpich application on rocks..
my configuration export and mount between master and slave is ok but then when im try running the progrmg (cpi.c) itr doesnt work. below is show how i compile and run the cpi.c on rocks cluster.before that,im running on master account(user) not in the root and i have create file name machines to list the node that i use to run the cpi.c.
[root@UPMGrid ~]# su master
[master@UPMGrid root]$ cd
[master@UPMGrid ~]$ ls
cpi cpi.c cpi.o machines Makefile
[master@UPMGrid ~]$ /opt/mpich/gnu/bin/mpirun -nolocal -np 2 -machinefile machines $HOME/cpi
Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11 forwarding.
bash: /home/master/cpi: cannot execute binary file
the error is on bash: /home/master/cpi : cannot execute binary file

I guess you need to add a "."

Thank u for ur response..n sory for the delay
i have try to put . but then it still can an error as below
[najdiah@UPMGrid ~]$ /opt/mpich/gnu/bin/mpirun -nolocal -np 4 -machinefile machines .$HOME/cpi
Missing: program name
Program ./home/najdiah/cpi either does not exist, is not
executable, or is an erroneous argument to mpirun.
