Help Me urgently
Dear friends
i have installed fedora 8 in my computer, kinldy guide me step by step 9treating as beginner ) for the following problems-
1. how can i run video files.
2. what is the mathod of starting internet if it is connected through anohter computer(in which internet is running and proxy is loaded)

One way to access the internet if the proxy is on another machine is to export the env variable http_proxy=<ip of the proxy:specify any port other than default>

Only for things that check for that variable. Firefox has a proxy-setting dialog box that you have to fill in....Konqueror uses the proxy settings for KDE...
