Xfree86 crashed!!! in Redhat9

My xfree86 has crashed and the GUI is not loading....
I had earlier posted it here some of them sent me some help i shall elaborate

>redhat-config-xfree86 from root
This gave me some GDK error...

I then checked the log file in the path the system showed me in xfree86
there it says that it is not able to load bitmap module and then it unloads it and then says it doesnot exist
similarly it says about the pcidata
these are the two modules it will not load..... and hence i m not able to go into the GUI .....

If there is any way i can compile the xfree86 or patch it up please tell me...

I have loaded Redhat9 and am new to linux and want ot fight this out.. i dont want to reload the OS RH9 i want to solve the problem here...

You can boot into runlevel 3 first and then run

startx

Also, you can also configure xfree86 using the 'linuxconf' utility

But this package is no more part of Red Hat 9, however, you can still download it from the Internet.

Also, post your /etc/X11/XF86config file...
