Why when i restart my computer, my ethernet adapter don't work?


Hi,
I'm not expert in Linux! I'm starting! I have a red hat 9.0 and i inteled a ethernet adapter and your driver! When i restart my computer, it don't work! I run in comand line "insmod rhinefet" and it work! What i can do?

"rc.modules" file isn't in /etc/rc.d
What can i do to solve my problem?

Look in the folder /etc/rc.d. Is there a rc.modules file?

If there is, open it and add a new entry to it that will load "rhinefet". This should work:

/sbin/modprobe rhinefet
Reboot and see if your card works.
