Why Gnome can't mount & umount disks anymore?
I reinstalled my RH8 some days ago (please don't ask me why) and now I can't mount or umount my disks via Gnome. On my previous installation it was possible to do it by doing a right-click on the desktop and choose "disks". Then the drives were mounted/umounted and showed/removed on the desktop as disk drives (white boxes).
Now I can't see my disks in this pop-up menu, although they're defined in fstab and can be used. So basically I desperate want this nice functionality back and I'll appreciate any help to get it back. Please help me. Thanks in advance!
