why am i not able to view my webpage from outside my LAN
In our organisation the PCs are connected in LAN and are connected to the NET thru a linux server via VSAT.
Our official web page is also launched on this server. We are able to view this page within our LAN only. Not able to view it from outside the LAN.
What cud the error be and the possible solution for it.
Thanks in advance

Did you registered your domain name with a DNS provider such as www.zoneedit.com or www.no-ip.com to resolve your domain name to your public ip. Also, do you have a static or dynamic ip?

forget about the hostname for the time being, just try get to your page via your ip. if that works then you have a problem with your dns, if not then you have a problem with apache.
