It is highly possible of course. But knowing that 3.0 will practically be 2.32, I keep my hopes up. I spent ~2h on GNOME site researching information about 3.0. All indications are that 3.0 is just an evolution of 2.x code, nothing fancy, just dumping unnecessary dead weight.

Hi,
Now Beta version of RHEL6 is released.Does anybody know when Redhat stops RHEL5 certification and starts RHEL6 exam. Thanks in Advance |
I do not know, but I can guess that they will wait for official release of RHEL 6, since in this stage a lot of changes are still possible, based on what customers manage to "force" Red Hat to change.

Have it on good authority from Red Hat themselves that RHEL 6 will be released in September 2010.

This was the info their VP of EMEA gave to me, I guess this was speculation on his part.

RHEL 6 Release date
My crystal ball says November 10, 2010.

My spidey senses tell me that's probably true.
