what update of Red Hat ES 4 am I running

Hi All,
I'm a bit new to Administration on Red Hat Enterprise. We recently got a copy of RHEL 4. I want to install an application but i'm not sure if it will run. A colleague of mine spoke to the vendor and they said it need a specific update. here is my pickle. How do I know what update I am running, if any at all?

I've seen the nomenclature Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update # (where # is the specific update). Any commands to assist??

I've tried :
1)
uname -a

Output
Linux ctl-svr1.ctl.net 2.6.9-5.ELsmp #1 SMP Wed Jan 5 19:29:47 EST 2005 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
------

2)

more /etc/redhat-release

output

Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 4 (Nahant)

-----

Any assistance is appreciated.

Regards,
Giovanni

Your currently running RHEL4 without any updates (three update releases have happened), please see the documentation on how to use up2date. Red Hat should have sent you update media, have you asked???

The command you used 'more | /etc/redhat-release' shows this. By using up2date you should upgraded to the third release set (RHEL4.3).
