W2K3 .vmdk image migration to XEN .img on RHEL 5
1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,
I have this question that is as we speak posted on the support site of Redhat, but yet with no real good answer to it. I have a few W2K3 Server vitalized on Debian and Vmware GSX 1.4 so every server has one or more .vmdk files on the Debian box. I have installed a REHL 5 box (supported) 64 Bit Host with Xen kernel. What i want to do is migrate those .vmdk images to Xen .img to run them on the new installed REHL 5 server based on Xen. I have found some documentation on how to do this but i haven't managed to get the W2K3 working yet! http://ian.blenke.com/vmware/vmdk/xen/hvm/qemu I will attach a screen dump from my Xen W2K3 Guest, (Sorry but it's Dutch) Any suggestion or tip would be appreciated. Best regards, Jesse |
