Very New to RedHat 8 Porblems tar.gz

Please bare with me, I have only just installed RedHat for the first time.
Mind you it was quite easy.

Ok, I have installed it with KDE and not GNOME, if that help in the later stages,

What I have is 'opendchub-0.7.14.tar.gz' its a Direct Connect hub that I want to run on my Redhat Server, but I have no idea where to start.

I have managed to extract the files to into a folder /opendchub/ in the 'home' directory. This is where I get stuck, I have no idea what to do next.

If someone with a little knowledge could put together a little step by step guide (as im very stupid when it comes to Linux) I would be very grateful.

Alternatively a link to other sites with guides would be great.

Many Thanks

Normally, your next step would be to open a console and do the following:

su (hit enter and then enter the root password)
make install

These are however generic instructions. In the newly created directory, look for the README and INSTALL files - they will give full info.
