UserAlias and Virtual folder

Hi,

In we can create a user and provide the virtual root to each one each user.

Ex:
User : AAA
Alias : AA1 Virtual Root : AA1
Alias : AA2 Virtual Root : AA2
Alias : AA3 Virtual Root : AA3

Can we create the same structure in Linux? if yes how to ?
Any thoughts?

Thanks

You might be able to do it using chroot. Debian has a system of user-specific chroot jails described here.

I assume the missing noun is FreeBSD and by virtual root you are referring to jails and not chroot. The closest thing in GNU/Linux would be LXD or maybe Firejail.

But we need more information about how you want the accounts restricted to provide an answer.
