Upgrade to kernel-55 causes system to hang at startup
I just updated to:
kernel-2.6.9-55.0.2.EL.src.rpm from: kernel-2.6.9-34.0.2.EL.src.rpm running: Red Hat Desktop release 4 It hangs at startup right after it says: "Entering non-interactive startup" Reverting back to kernel-34 boots fine, so I've set it as the default kernel. The next startup service for kernel-34 says: "No volume groups found" "Starting readahead_early ... " Any ideas on what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |
