Unable To Update BIOS on RHEL System
I did a new installation of RHEL 5.3 and now I downloaded a BIN file from Dell that lets me upgrade / update my system BIOS from the OS. When I try and run the file on 2 servers I have, I get the same following message:

[root@lt2fs3 cwilliams]# ./BMC_FRMW_LX_R202152.BIN
which: no lockfile in (/bin:/usr/bin:/sbin)
/tmp/BMC_FRMW_LX_R202152.BIN-3137-6676/ Cannot find utilities on the system to execute package.

Make sure the following utilities are in the path:
sed stty cut fmt stat look lockfile tail rm mkdir mktemp chmod ls basename dirname sleep

Can anyone please tell me what I am doing wrong or what my system needs to get this BIN file to run correctly. Dell and RHEL seem to be no help...

Obviously it means what it says.

Does it want core boot flash utility?

Do go to the core boot site ... plenty of main boards can be upgraded with it.

chmod +x ... ?

I have no idea what the core boot site is even...sorry. I checked to make sure all the listed items are installed and they were.
