Trouble making USB / flashdrive installation
I am trying to make a flashdrive that will install RHEL for a customers server. they provided me with the ISO file they use for their install, including kickstart file.

i have tried several different ways of getting this to work off of a USB stick but i keep hitting snags. i tried using UNetBootin, but when i boot off the flashdrive it will say it can not locate the kickstart file, and after i point to it, it will say that it can not find a RHEL installation CD in the CDROM. ive tried extracting the ISO files/directories to the flashdrive and making it bootable with syslinux, tried putting the ISO on there as well.

is there something specific i need to be doing or changing?

well, i tried out the steps outlined here

but its still not working out as planned. even if i have the original ISO file on there for it to go off of. kickstart isnt kicking off heh.

this is a customers ISO and the kickstart they made i assume is going based off of a CDROM installation. theyre wanting me to make a USB stick for installation that does the same thing. and its not working out too well.
