Tool Bar

To be honest , not sure what happened nor why. But the bottom line problem that I have been left with after messing around with Acronis today is that when I click to minimize a window .... it no longer goes down to the taskbar. It just goes into space somewhere. Given the world will not end but the net result is that I now have to restart every application as opposed to clicking on it on the toolbar..... any ideas as to how to get an app to go down to the toolbar when it gets minimized ? Tks, -Emmett

Depending on what version of gnome/kde you're using, some taskbar applets allow you to specify groups of applications to be ignored by the panel. I think this might not be possible with the version of Gnome that comes with rh9, but using older versions of Gnome/sawfish, I know it's possible to do something like what you're describing. Don't remember how, though. Poke through the settings on your taskbar applet and see what you find.

Good Luck
