syskonnect and EG1032(linksys)?

Finally was able to set up eth1 wtih syskonnect (sk98lin driver) . UNfortunately after I try to activate it says that the card is not found on system. I cd to /proc/pci (nano) and noticed the card is there(IRQ 11 pci bus 2 and a bunch of other info).

I am semi new to linux and would appreciate any help I can get.

Has anybody ran into a simular prob?

Using EG1032 Gigabit (Linksys).
RHEL 3 AS

I am also semi-new to Linux. And I have a linksys EG1032 gigabit ethernet card that I am trying use as a second nic. Can you point me to the doc on how to set it up? Thanks.

EG1032

I can't remember what site I got it from. If you are using Fedora 3 or RHEL v4 (only). For some reason this doesn't work under RHEL v3. Go to Applications---System Settings--Network--Hardware then click the "New" button below "File". Under Hardware select Ethernet. Set Adapter to Syskonnect SK-98xx Gigabit. make sure you set eth1. Most likely your frst NIC is set to eth0.
That should do it. If it doesn't see it possibly the card is not plugged in all the way. Good Luck!
