Unhappy Switching from dump tape directory backups to NAS disk backups on RHEL 6

Having trouble with NAS Disk to disk backup speed using dump. To Tape (dump -0au) was getting 10 kilobyte records with 26MB+/s through put, but to NAS (dump -0au) only getting 10 kilobyte records with through put around 900KB/s, not accepable performance. Anyone have success working with blocking tranfer rate by using -b blocking factors within a NAS disk-to-disk backup strategy using dump?
