stability with redhat 7.3 & 9.0
 

Hello, here i ve got a problem of stability on a small network of 5 machines for secretaries

Configs are pentium 3 to athlon 2600+
Motherboard MSI
video tnt2

the 5 machines are in network with a station serving as "" file server" ", with NFS. SHARE PRINTERS (3)
Redhat 7.3 and Star Office 5.2
Environment graphic KDE

My problem of stability is that machines
:freeze
:loss of KDE tool bar (server)
:problem with the printers which are put in errors (obligation to remove them and reinstall)

Soluce: I tried to pass a station in redhat 9.0 (update) and Open Office 1.1.0.0
Result: I find the same problems of stability:

problem of configuration NFS???
Problem of the distribution???
OTHERS ???
