SSH connection refused


I have a server that i have using centos. it is on a home connection using dynamicdns so i configured a dynamicdns hostname. I am unable to connect using ssh i get a connection refused error.

Do you have a firewall device between the internet and your CentOS machine? Are you running a firewall on the CentOS machine? Either way you'll need to punch a hole through for TCP port 22 for SSH access.
