sound files in Terminal


I was wondering how do you play mp3 and wav files from a terminal command line. I have done it before and cannot remember how to do it. Thanks

I am Using RH9 if it makes any difference

Try using mplayer:
mplayer /path/to/my-great.mp3

I use mp3blaster

I love this forum. Thanks to all that helped even on such an easy issue.
I look forward to the day when I have a harder problem for you all. Sounds wierd right? Thought so.

mpg123 <file.mp3> (without the '<' and '>' of course)
