You have been here since 2009...after eight years, you should know you need to provide details when asking a question. You don't tell us anything about the version of your "Red Hat Linux", what hardware it's running on, what services it may be running, or what SNMP traps are getting sent to that box, from where. Your message is NOT an error, either...merely an unsolicited SNMP notification.

Provide details, and we may be able to help you figure things out.

Again, you are not providing details. Do you mean the very, VERY old Red Hat 5 from 1997, or do you mean the Red Hat ENTERPRISE 5?? RHEL 5 is, first, NOT FREE, and you need to pay for it; and what revision level of 5? Because only 5.11 is on extended support (for a LOT of $$$), so if you're paying for RHEL 5, you can call Red Hat. And in either case, you need to upgrade...pay for RHEL or use CentOS instead.

And you were also asked what was sending SNMP traps to that system, but didn't answer that. And AGAIN, that is NOT AN ERROR, but an SNMP trap received from something that is sending it to the SNMP daemon on your RHEL box.
