sftp user jail to a different home directory

Hi everyone,
I'm having some troubles to set a user account that will be used to access a server via sftp, I have managed to jail that user only to it's own home directory, but if I try to set a different directory which belongs to another user then it fails. I have read that bind both directories might help, I did a try using automount but didn't work either, or maybe I set it up incorrectly.
Any suggestion??
Thanks and best regards!
Héctor

hector can you post any of the error messages you are receiving? Are you able to SSH into that server? Is this a firewall issue? Is SELinux enabled?

I have tried a couple of things:
1)setting up the desired directory(who belongs to another user) under sshd_config file.
Result-->once I do sftp to my server using the new user account I got a software error message (using filezilla, as sftp client)

2)I have tried changing the etc/passwd file and setting up the desired directory and got the same error.

3)with automount, I coulnd not gethe desired directory mounted, so, didn't work.

4)new user account shouldn't be able to log into the server by ssh, this part is covered by modifying etc/passwd file and setting as a shell bin/false

Hope this can help to clarify a bit.
Thanks and best regards
Héctor
