Setup LaserJet Series II

Hey everyone,
I just got my hands on a laser printer, but I can't seem to get it configured properly in RedHat 9. I have an HP LaserJet Series II, and I'm using redhat-config-printer to use it. Yet, whenever I send something to be printed on it, it just comes out all messed up and compressed to the left side. It's way too small to read, so I'm not even sure if it's actually printing the file I send. Can somebody point me in the right direction to set this up?

It took me days to get my printers working properly and I don't claim to know all the answers but stick at it and you'll get there. This is the place to learn about printing on linux If you haven't already, install hpijs-1.5 and get foomatic-gswrapper and foomatic-rip Make them executable and put them somewhere in your path (eg, /usr/bin)
