Setting up NAT/DHCP/Router/Firewall on Red Hat

Hello,

I'm reasonably well experienced in unix/networking as separate things (i've set up an office network with two windows servers, and I test software on solaris) but now I want to try using an old p3 266 from work as a home gateway as the cheapo linksys one i have is pretty poor performance-wise.

I'd like to use red hat as it's the linux i'm most familar with, but i'm open to using another distro if it's more suitable. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good guide for getting this set up?

What I need:

- DHCP client (don't need pppoe)
- DHCP server
- NAT
- Router
- Port forwarding

What i'd like if poss:

- Firewall
- DNS request caching/forwarding (so i don't need to enter dns servers on those machines that need a static ip)
- Port filtering
- QoS

What'd be really lovely but i can manage without:

- Some sort of configurator with a gui so I don't have to faff around with .conf files to make changes.

So can anyone point me at a guide for red hat, or does anyone think another linux would be better?

Cheers, Phil
