sending mail from win xp to linux imap mail server
 

hi dudes i wanna now how to send mail from linux mail server(imap) to win xp client and vice versa pls send me da links related also and also tell me da software compatabile for this condition

You can't send email from an imap server, that's not what imap is for. You also don't send email to a client, clients poll a server to retrieve email (excluding push notifications which aren't relevant here). Explain what you actually want to achieve in a suitable amount of detail and we'll go from there.

actually what i mean is i have redhat 5.0 enterprise edition server with dns configured. i am also running imap service in it now i want to run mailing between two win xp clients using this as a mail server in the same domain.
