selinux prevents login

I set selinux to enforcing and was not able to login. I booted to a live CD and, turned selinux off, and was able to login. In the selinux troubleshooter it shows:

---
SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/gdm-binary (hotplug_t) "entrypoint" access to /etc/X11/xinit/Xsession (bin_t).
---

and

---
SELinux is preventing access to files with the label, file_t.
---

As far as I know, I did not change anything to create this problem. How can I correct these so that I can use enforcing mode? I'm using CentOS 5.1.

Also, let me know of any good resources for learning SELinux for Red Hat system administration. Everything I've seen is very conceptual, not very practical. At the Red Hat site they mostly say, "take the class"!

Thanks

Do you have the selinux-polgengui command installed? If so, just run it to change your policy as needed.

Do you have the system-cofig-selinux command installed? If so, run and see if that can help.

If you have neither of those tools, see if you can find them is the CentOS repositories.

Of course, if you can't log in, you system is very secure.
