RHEL 6 and wine

is anyone able to build wine with alsa support? Due to dependency reasons the only way i can install wine is to build it manually and even then i cant get any sound. When i do ./configure libgstreamer and libgsm are among the warnings i get that are missing (but can still compile without) however i tried yum install gstreamer-devel.i686 yum and it installs but ./configure still shows gstreamer as missing. gsm on the other hand doenst seem to be able to find a gsm-devel.i686 but has a gsm-devel (for x86_64) any help would be appreciated
