RHEL 5.9 include vmxnet3?
 

Can anyone confirm me that RHEL 5.9 include vmxnet3 driver to both initrd.img image for kickstart installation and include in the OS after the installation finish.

I can't see the answer from redhat knowledge base that need subscription to view it.

Well, the fact that you're not paying for Red Hat is a good indication that you don't need to be USING it. Unless you pay, you are without bugfixes/updates/security fixes, and you're going to have an unstable, insecure server. Add to that the fact that the latest version is 6.4, and you're looking at having a shaky environment from the start.

And really...you'd like someone who IS paying for Red Hat to use their money to answer your question, because your company doesn't feel like paying for it? If you're not going to pay for RHEL, then use CentOS instead.

Actually I use Oracle Linux 5.9 and they claim that almost everything is exactly the same as RHEL with Red Hat compatible kernel. I try googling around but not much information except that link from Redhat KB subscription. So I ask this question and recently I've test by myself and found that there's no vmxnet3 include to initrd image.

I think with this simple question there must be atleast the reference information not only RedHat but every distro that use RedHat core.

No, you're just not PAYING for the products you're using. If you were, you'd be able to call Red Hat or Oracle, and simply ask them. That's the reason you PAY FOR the support/knowledge.
