RHEL 5.3 Samba DR Restore - Permissions Screwy on Samba shares

Im running a Red Hat Server with samba to use as a file server. It's not yet in production and I was doing a DR scenario and wiped the disks and did a complete restore. Everything worked great except for the file permissions on the samba shares. They aren't what they were. They seem to be either system user/groups or system user/group ids. Im assuming the permissions are screwy because they were Active Directory users and groups. Has any else ran into this before and can point me in the right direction?

I have been using this software by Microlite called Backup Edge. Seems to work pretty good so far. Do you think this is an issue with the BU software and not samba?

*UPDATE*

I have samba setup to use ads security. When I run the stat command on the samba shares to find the user/group id it doesnt match what our backup software is restoring. Im talking to their support team now.
