RHEL 4.0 upgrade

I currently have several RHEL 3.0 ES and AS servers that have maintenance expirations several months away. I just received the e-mail form RedHat with links to the RHEL 4.0 ISO's. I have downloaded those. Is upgrading to that version included in my maintenance or is only in-version upgrades?

Thanks,

Dep

You better ask Redhat before upgrading and possibly making your current agreement invalid. Probably it's included coz why would they send you to the link for the isos.

If I have the RHEL 4AS iso cds. What are the steps I should follow to migrate the server from RHEL 3 AS to RHEL 4 AS, without rebuilding the whole server?

RH does not support upgrading (in place) across major versions: http://www.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red...ted_Notes.html
In any case, they're currently on 5.3, so you'd be better off going with that anyway.
